PGY1 Pharmacy West Los Angeles, California
The Pharmacy Services at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles offer a broad range of pharmacist-led clinical services across ambulatory, inpatient, and specialty practice settings, including primary care, oncology, nephrology, and transitions of care. Our pharmacists practice under collaborative drug therapy management (CDTM) protocols, performing focused patient assessments, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, and initiating, modifying, and monitoring medication therapy to optimize patient outcomes. Our practice is supported by a fully integrated electronic health record, computerized provider order entry (CPOE), barcode medication administration, automated dispensing technology, and clinical decision support tools that enhance medication safety, continuity of care, and population health management.
